“My experience at Stone Chiropractic has been incredible. I have been getting regular adjustments here for over 5 years. I remember when I was hurting for weeks at a time and felt that I had no other choice but painkillers. After hearing about Dr. Stone from a friend, I decided to just jump into it all. It is truly amazing. I feel fantastic. Now, every time I hear someone talking about his or her aches and pains, Dr. Stone is always highly recommended.”

I developed shoulder pain and over a period of time, lost strength in the ability to raise my arm out to the side or lift things with it. In trying to raise my arm up over my head, I could raise a bit and then I’d have to actually lift it up to shoulder level using my other arm where it would then be able to work again by itself. I decided to go to an orthopedic specialist who said, “Your shoulder is bad. Let’s do an MRI to see what’s going on.” Conclusion was that I needed surgery to repair a rotator cuff. (I had surgery!) I happened to be in Dr. Stone’s office for an adjustment and mentioned, “Can you do something with this shoulder?” Dr. Stone asked if I’d ever heard of cold laser and when I responded with a no, he asked if I’d be interested in giving it a try. I was readily in agreement to anything that would help, especially if it’d help me enough to avoid surgery for now. It has been 8 weeks of treatment starting with twice a week, then once a week, and now once a month. I have gone from a 15% function of not being able to raise my arm over my head to a current function of about 80% and I can easily raise the arm. It seems to be getting better and better all the time as I strengthen the muscles. It may never get back to 100%, but I have been able to avoid a surgical procedure and that is great! Thanks, Dr. Stone.
